NO STRINGS ATTACHED: One Night Stand
As a 9-member collegiate group, No Strings Attached is entirely student-run and -directed. NSA was founded in 1994 by a group of students from a campus theater group. Since then we have gone on to record four CDs, taken second place in the National Finals of the 1997 International Collegiate Championship of A Cappella (ICCA) at Carnegie Hall, and traveled to the east coast for five annual spring break tours.
In addition to all of this, we perform both locally and regionally for a variety of events and organizations. Though we specialize in jazz, we're known for our wide variety of music, from choral masterpieces to jazz standards, rock favorites to popular music's most guilty pleasures. Our members represent nearly every college in the University, but all are musicians, and all are dedicated to musical success.
