BILLY G. CAMP: Don't Stop The Carnival
Backed by a handful of local hotshots from the Boise music scene, Billy G. Camp emerges with his debut CD entitled, “Don’t Stop The Carnivalâ€, which he has dubbed “a unique Alt. Country-Folkadelic experienceâ€. Drawing from influences as diverse as: Gram Parsons, John Prine, Tom Waites, and Jimmy Buffett, this singer-songwriter takes you on a LO-FI joyride through an eclectic sonic landscape with a “rough-around-the-edges yet passionate†delivery.
Born and raised in upstate South Carolina, Billy G. Camp grew up with music all around him. In the late 80’s and 90’s, he was a regular on the SC music scene as a bass player for several local rock acts including one that received regional attention during the mid-90’s.
Currently based in Boise, ID, he returns with a catchy, feel-good collection of songs that “grows on you like kudzu and is bound to leave you reeling from a foot-stompin’ good time!â€
