For years, Billy Barnes' friends - especially the great women "Divas" - have asked him to write specialty material just for them, catered to their personalities and often to their own lives. These wonderful, funny songs could only be heard you happened to be in the nightclub or theater audience at the time ... until now.
Ten extraordinary performers have gathered together to record these theatrical gems for the first time:
Eileen Barnett - From her time on Days Of Our Lives comes the musical romp "Soap Opera" and we also hear the story of why on earth she moved to "The Valley".
Kay Cole - Originating the part of Maggie in A Chorus Line made Kay the perfect choice to record two "Dance" songs originally written for Juliet Prouse.
Carole Cook - One of Broadways, television and film's funniest ladies tells us about "My Life" and why she's "The Queen Of Equity Waiver"
Nancy Dussault - The star of TV's "Too Close For Comfort" sings about being part of a career navy family in "Captain's Daughter".
Kathleen Freeman - She appeared in more movies and TV shows than she could list on her resume, but someone was always asking her, "Are You Somebody?"
Jane A. Johnston - Broadway star Jane shares a celebration of men's "Buns", a lament about the stinginess of "Nouvelle Cuisine" and a hymn to cosmetically getting "A Little Lift."
