luckyMission joins the fortunes of electronic keyboards with acoustic instruments processed with found-sounds and percussion. The vocals are lyrically provocative, evoking a sense of the New Romantic.
luckyMisison is :
Andrew Franck composer/keyboardist with an extensive catalog of works for chamber ensembles, film, dance and electronics. His performance range includes the Lush Post Minimalism Festival, music for Ballet Trocadero, "Remembering the Present Tense" radio broadcasts and work with the rhythm and drone group Elastik.
Stephen Johnson is a songwriter who has recorded throughout Europe. He was a member of the new wave band Victorian Parents on Polydor Records, who were featured on BBC TV and radio. In the states he was lead vocalist and guitarist for the atmospheric pop group Island of Men with producer-drummer Jerry Marotta.
New members to luckyMission and their upcoming album are Mikey Coletti (from Exit Poll) on acoustic and electric bass and Ted Orr (from P-Funk) on tablas and percussion.
