JOE FERRERI: A Long Time Coming

Nearly twenty five years ago, Joe Ferreri played his first song on the guitar. At that moment he knew in his heart he wanted to compose original music.
Throughout Joe's life he has worked hard learning how to play the guitar while studying the craft of songwriting.
Joe's musical journey over the years has consisted of writing Christian music, folk Rock, and country music which he has performed at a number of venues. Joe is best known for his love ballads as well as his story songs such as A Cry For The Red,White, And Blue written for the Vietnam Veterans or his football hero song titled: Even Hero's Somtimes Fall.
Joe is a member of the Pittsburgh Songwriters Association, where he continues to master the craft of songwriting.
Joe's determination is best seen in his current CD project "A Long Time Coming" released in the summer of 2002.
Joe's passion for songwriting and his ability to tell stories makes him a poet who's able to convey his talent through his music. Many of his songs are of real people and places that just touch deep into your soul. Joe's songs have been well received and enjoyed by many.
Joe has been methodical in his approach to his music. His never die-attitude coupled with his hard-work ethic has proven to be the right ingredients for prolonged success. Joe's writing and his voice has been compared to Gordon Lightfoot, which in joe's own words is an enormous compliment. Joe is well grounded as well as thankful to all who have played a part in his musical career. When you meet him you too will be touched by the warmth and graciousness that his personality brings to every performance.
