The John Conahan Group was formed last year in Philadelphia by singer/songwriter/pianist John Conahan as an outlet for his pop and rock compositions.

A diverse background in choral conducting and avant-garde improvisation enabled Conahan to cast his net wide when looking for the perfect blend of collaborators for the group.

The band includes Eric Hastings (The Jongleurs, The Kind) on drums and brothers Geoff (bellydogs) & George (Slim Man) Hazelrigg on bass and guitar, respectively.

The group has been playing steadily in the mid-Atlantic region and a national tour is being planned for winter 2002.
