Sister Soul is a blue-eyed California blonde singer/ songwriter who definitly lives up to her name. This independent artist self-produced her SMASH debut album LOVE RULES and released it on her own label, Mojogirl, in October, 2001. She did a work exchange for studio time and LOVE RULES took five years to complete. Pursuing excellence, Sister Soul achieved her dream; to make a GREAT album loaded with talent and homegrown soul.

Sister Soul's true gift is her songwriting. She has the very rare talent of writing songs EVERYONE can relate to. "All my songs are true stories," she says. "Everything I write I've loved, lost, lived, cried, and almost died for. Life is my muse."
So, what music influences and inspires Sister Soul? Her first year in college she loved Neil Young so much she picked up a guitar and learned to play his songs. One year later she left school and spent seven years following the Grateful Dead. During this time she saw Bonnie Raitt perform and knew exactally what she wanted to do; to hold her own onsatge as a woman and ROCK!
And ROCK she does. Sister Soul is unafraid to be her self in the studio and on the stage, alone or with a band. She offers a truly powerful musical experience. Without a doubt, she is Sister Soul. And without a doubt you will love her music!
