samantha cole grew up in southampton, new york.. started singing lessons at age 12, appeared on 30 episodes of mtvs "the grind" which she sang on one at 17... was discovered by doug morris and daniel glass at 18, did her first self titled album released under universal records in 1997.. worked with the world wide hit producers david foster, nile rodgers, richard marx, and rhett lawrence, on her first album which she cowrote eight songs .. since then toured america with a top 40 song called "happy with you", then over to south asia where she had a number one song called "without u"(which currently has been rerecorded by american idols clay aiken and kimberly locke,, samantha co wrote the song) off the first album... has appeared on the dark angel tv show soundtrack 2002, and also on the hit song which was released as a single with shaggy "luv me luv me" off the multiplatinum album hotshot in 2001-2002, since then has been doing acting as well and appeared on a episode of "sex in the city's" last season, damon dash directed film called "death of a dynasty" and on the the we entertainment channel hit reality show "single in hamptons" airing this past summer and appeared in fhm magazine july issue usa as well as others... Also just PLayboy november BAbe of the MOnth, non nude, currently working on a new album and material with a new label in europe due spring time.. here are some previously unreleased tracks originally written for the second album that have never been released, can only be found here on cdbaby and sold here....
